This month we are learning about COURTESY! Courtesy means being polite and kind — saying "please" and "thank you," and thinking of others. Every bow at the start and end of class is a small act of courtesy.

🥋 What is courtesy?

Courtesy is treating people the way we want to be treated. It's a small kindness — like holding a door, saying "thank you," or waiting your turn — that shows others we care.

💬 Try asking your child

  • ●What is a polite thing you did today?

💡 Try This At Home

Model the words out loud, even for small moments — "Thank you for passing the milk." Young children learn courtesy far more from what they hear modeled than from being told to "be polite."

"Please and thank you go a long way!" Practice saying both together before dinner this week.
